“Regardless of whether you want to live close to nature or in the middle of the village, there are various options to choose from. During the festival, like many others, you can camp at our Bluegrass camp in the middle of the village close to the festival area. Whether you want to camp, take the caravan or motorhome, there is room for you. BLUEGRASS WILD CAMP – Festival area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year we\u00b4re opening up a camping area, right by the festival. Bluegrass Wild camp is located close to the festival area so you\u00b4ll have access to both showers and restrooms, but no electricity. Book a place via bokatorsaker@gmail.com <\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00c5RTENS G\u00c5RD<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Just outside Tors\u00e5ker you will find super cozy accommodation on the farm M\u00e5rtens in H\u00e4stbo. In the beautiful baker’s cottage from 1811 there are 5 rooms and 8 beds and is perfect for those who want to live in the countryside. During the summer, the farm shop is open and there is also a caf\u00e9. You can find more information on their website martensihastbo.se<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOLFVILLAN BnB<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Golfvillan BnB is located next to Hofors Golf Club with a view of the lake Storg\u00f6sken. Here you’ll find one of Sweden’s most beautiful 18-hole courses with its own restaurant. The golf villa offers 8 double rooms with a high standard and its own fully tiled bathroom. Another room is available with 3 beds in a bunk bed. There is also a suite to book with 8 beds and its own balcony. Extra beds are available if needed. The golf villa has large living rooms such as the family room, and a fully equipped kitchen. L\u00e5ngn\u00e4s Herrg\u00e5rd<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Lake Stor-G\u00f6sken, close to nature and swimming and only 200 meters to the first tee at Hofors Golf Club and Hofors Padel, our renovated and modernized 19th-century farmhouse is available for rent. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering for four people with bedroom, kitchen and dining area, and shower. In addition, there are amenities such as a sofa corner with TV, Wi-Fi, and a patio with a view of the lake and golf course, as well as barbecue facilities. Ica TorCenter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You don’t have to go far to find most things. At Ica TorCenter, the local grocery store in the middle of the village, there is a good selection to fill up the fridge in the caravan, for a great festival picnic or if you need a stamp. ICA is open every day between 08:00 and 20:00 and the address is Berglins v\u00e4g 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gulf Tors\u00e5ker <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fuel, leisure accessories, fishing licenses, mosquito nets, bicycle hose and everything else that may be needed for a festival can be found at this store in Tors\u00e5ker! We also want to tell you about their “Lifeguard”. Imagine waking up after a lovely festival weekend and feeling like you need a little extra energy, what’s better than two sausages with mash and prawn salad! A lifesaver!

G\u00e4stis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

G\u00e4stis has for many many years served us good \u00e1 la cart, hamburgers and pizza. This is where we have our meetings when the festivals are to be planned and this is where you go when you want to offer a nicer dinner. Did you know they have a pizza called Bluegrass! If you plan to eat, please book a table to be sure of getting a seat!

Tors\u00e5ker’s Blommor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you’re in the village and craving a really good coffee, take the opportunity to visit Tors\u00e5ker Blommor. Not only is coffee and home-baked cake served here, but you will also find everything from cut flowers, bouquets and lots of other nice things to plant outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geranium museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Linda you can both see and buy over 250 different types of geraniums! In addition to gorge in geraniums, you can find fine interior details and garden plants. At your visit, you can take the opportunity to have a coffee and taste geranium cake. This is as cozy as it gets! It is the Geranium Museum that stands for the fine floral creations that adorn our bluegrass scene. Check out their new website pelargonmuseet.se<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cooling dip<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Something that is wonderful is cooling off a sun-warmed body in a sparkling lake. There are more swimming lakes to choose from, but the closest are Malmj\u00e4rn and S\u00e4ljsj\u00f6n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial history<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you’re interested in industrial history, then you have come to the right place. Visit Storberget’s mines, take a guided tour and get the story of the watchful mine lady and how 12 out-of-parish men lost their lives when they didn’t listen to her warnings. The mining of ore in Storberget laid the foundation for G\u00e4vle harbour and is a large part of our region’s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gammelstilla bruk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the middle of this industrial idyll you will find the cozy caf\u00e9 and a whiskey distillery. Here there is art, a flea market and an interior design shop. You can find more information of this place at their website gammelstillahwhisky.se<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
